Gamefroot craziness

Today we were continuing our games from last week because we couldn't open marketplace. I really enjoyed this and found it quite simple. The thing that confused me the most was how to make the character turn to the left when running that way rather than doing a Michael Jackson. I fixed that problem from watching the entire tutorial video. Next time I will figure out how to do the background and make it move along with the character. Overall this activity was very fun and you should definitely try it on the gamefroot app. (Will post up the final project when its done ^^).

Kaleidoscope art

 Today we were finishing our Kaleidoscope art we started on wednesday. I really enjoyed this because we got to put our names in and decide if we wanted it to be x4 x8 or x16. I decided on x16 which i think would make look even better. Next time I think I will try to do maybe some patterns rather than my name. Overall it was a really fun experience. (Example above).

Some things are not what it seems...

Today we were learning how to make a app on not getting trapped on phising (pronounced fishing).
I liked doing the code because it was a new experience.
I found the changing the code all the time annoying.
Next time I will try to do it on scratch since that was a option.
If you were to try this maybe try a few questions before adding like 15.

Scratch good commenting (Work in progress)

Today we were making a Good blog comments post with Scratch and our characters we created!
The coding was my favourite part of this!
The hardest bit was probably trying to figure out how smooth this would run without a mishap happening.
Next time I will try to complete it before I post it out into the public but oh well.

Pic collage Hamster

We were learning about Collages, how to be smart with media, learning algorithm for creating a collage etc. What I enjoyed was creating my creature. What I found challenging was trying to create something like a Russian Dwarf hamster and having to restart over and over again. Next time I may choose a easier creature so I can try and finish it... 

We were learning to design using poly art and working together during Manaiakalani what was difficult today was working with someone that has different ideas to me, Like when I wanted to pass the ball rather than tackling. What I found easy was to gather information on our country which was the USA! Next time maybe I will try another pose than Tackling because I really can't tackle as you can see in the slide. We haven't finished yet so It will look at bit weird right now! 

Colourful art master piece

Lately for writing we have been working on this masterpiece. I spent a long time on this. What I disliked was how long it took me to finish. What I enjoyed was the finished project. Next time I will try to make it look a bit nicer. This art represents our hand as the tree reaching out to say "We need to save the earth."our hand is the trunk. The colour bursts are made from the primary pastel colours.The colour burst represent oxygen in the air.
