Winter recipe

We were writing our own winter recipe that includes all of the things that we like to do in Winter. What I liked was publishing it onto a slide deck. What I disliked was trying to plan ideas for my writing. What I would do differently next time is that I would try to add more writing to my poem. What I would like to do is make a summer poem with the class.

Freezing points and boiling points

I was learning the freezing points and boiling points of different substances for the science fair. What I enjoyed was doing all the experiments. My least favourite part writing down the answers to all the experiments.I really enjoyed it and excited for the intermediate science fair.

We are learning how many groups of ten are in numbers up to the number ten. What I enjoyed was converting numbers into words and words into numbers. Next time I will try and do it within the time I am given.

Characterisation WONDER

WALT do characterisation which is when you are focusing on certain person the person I am focusing on August in the book WONDER. The book wonder is about a little boy that was born with a deformed face and is stared at and whispered about. I really liked the book and would like to watch the movie again.

Personification writing

Today we were learning to write with personification to give objects and creatures human attributes. (The deadly lightning dances while spreading anger throughout its path). My favourite part was taking my turn to write something. My least favourite part was waiting for my turn. Next time I will try not to be too over possessive with my teams tidiness in writing and spelling.

Maths prodigy

WALT:use our math's skills against our opponents to win and succeed in battle the main success of winning a battle is rescuing a creature and after the battle you can equip a creature and use it to win in battle. When you win in battle you can head to town and buy all of the wands and hair and etc. Later on you can fight titans and earn titans shard after the fight and earn items around the town you find the magic gems and after you found them all you will unlock the academy tower.

WALT: Set goals for the year to work on. What will be most challenging is keeping up with these goals. I am excited to start this journey.
