Creative drawing

Today we were assigned the task to make a drawing that only includes the tools Polyline and Curve. What I struggled with was using curve since I usually use shapes. One thing I found easy was using polyline. A thing I like was how I got to interpret something that I am passionate about.  One thing I will do differently is try a bit more on the curve to so it looks natural.

Copyright challenge

Today we were assigned a copyright challenge and I found making the music easy and importing the audio easy. I really enjoyed letting myself be creative. Next time I will talk to my friends less. And what I found challenging was trying out a new site i'm not familiar with.

ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day

Anzac day is a day of remembrance for the soldiers that fought in World War 2 with allied soldiers and against the German Nazi’s. Every year for Anzac day there would be two parades being based in each city during the Dawn Parade there will be a speaker who will speak on behalf of the soldiers. And later in the day there is the Civic parade where they will let 3 shots out of a canon. Most families on this day will go out to their family members who lost their lives in war or died following the war and will lay a poppy on the grave site. In most cemeteries there is a section where soldiers are buried.  The symbol for ANZAC soldiers is a poppy. The reason it is a poppy is because there was a poppy field where the soldiers were based at one point and lots of soldiers passed there. And this is the saying said at the service: They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

The place that alot more soldiers passed away was ANZAC Cove in Turkey and whilst they were there alot of soldiers were waiting for the ANZAC soldiers there and started shooting them when their boats reached the sand. The cause of this incident was miscommunication and travelling to the wrong spot. The soldiers were originally meant to arrive on the other side of the island to fire at the Turks but it changed to the Turks shooting them.

Profile Animation

 Profile Animating                (Click the arrows)

In todays session and last weeks session of Manaiakalani we have been learning how to animate profiles to use on our blogs once we have finished.  Also in the session we were learning what information we should keep private and what we can share online. One thing I found mainly surprising was not to share your address on social media, not because I do but because I thought it would be common knowledge not to share those things. I haven't learnt anything new in the past two sessions because I have done these things before but I have acted upon  my feedback and feel like I made a better version than last time. And I want people to think of me as a creative person.
